My father was a trained wood carver/furniture maker from a little island off the coast of southern Norway. He taught me how to use tools and passed on a love for woodworking. I spent much of my life designing and selling high-end wooden toys and also working as a tech ed teacher where I taught woodworking to middle schoolers. Now that I’m retired, I get to be creative in my woodworking.
